"Shaiya" is an MMORPG developed by SONOV which invested two years time and more than KRW 4 billion (about RMB 30 million) in the project. The system requirement for the game is not high. When you enter the game, you may feel that it's similar to some other 3D MMORPG. Shaiya has inherited the features of Myth, Lineage II and some other famous MMORPGs; however, it focuses more on character details and the quality of graphics. Its excellent graphics makes Shaiya stand out among other recently released 3D MMORPGs. There are two control modes available in the game, keyboard control mode and mouse control mode (the keyboard control mode is similar to that in CS). When you create your character, the system will ask you to select difficulty level, which is quite normal in offline games. However, it is the first time that this kind of function found in an online game though it's not as simple as that in offline games.

There are four difficulty modes for players to choose from: easy, normal, difficult and ultimate (currently only two modes are available). The easy mode is fit for newbs and noobs, but the in-game character is restricted to a maximum level of 30. In normal mode, character's attribute point will increase 3 and skill point will increase 1 whenever you get 1 level up. In difficult mode, the character's attribute point will increase 5 and skill point increase 1 whenever you get 1 level up, but the experience gained in difficult mode is twice as that in normal mode. In ultimate mode, the character's attribute point will increase 5 and skill point will increase 2 whenever you advance 1 more level. However, once your character dies, all the data of the character will be deleted directly. This kind of setting might be the first found in online games.

The quests in the game is adult-oriented, some of which involve social ethic, closely related to real life. And it is worth mentioning that the armors in the game can not only increase your defense, but also can increase your HP and stamina so that they can defense your character more effectively.

Shaiya has adopted quite a lot of new concepts which have never been attempted in any other online games. We believe that this adult MMORPG Shaiya will go further and further in the online game world and create a new chapter in MMORPG's history.

Shaiya Review:
There were too many players on this map, faint, so I swam to the opposite bank of the river. There was a village over there and several NPCs were standing around. I talked to them and hoped to take on some quests from them, but what a pity, my level was not high enough. There were fewer players on this map, though those boars with green name were a challenge for me. (The monster setting is quite similar to that in KAL. The monsters' color will change according to players' level. I have found 3 different colors until now, Blue--100% experience, Green--125% experience and Yellow--150% experience). Soon, I advanced into level 8. I accumulated more than 20,000 in-game money after accomplishing missions. I bought some new equipments, carried my weapons and started my new adventure.

The monsters in Shaiya have high attack and defense and they are suitable for same-level players. In the first several levels, leveling was pretty fast, but afterward it slowed down gradually, maybe because there were too few monsters above level 5 for players to kill.
